The award is organized on the initiative of the Cultural Association "St. Francis", in remembrance of the anniversary of the April 25, 1944, day of the bombing of the city of Umbertide and 25 April 1945, the date of the liberation of Italy from Nazi-Fascist. A day dedicated to culture.
